SQL Server Day - Bangalore, 20 November 2010

The maiden Bangalore chapter of SQLServerGeeks, took place on November 20 at the Microsoft Embassy office, and had been a great experience for the speakers as well as visitors alike.

The event saw senior professionals like Vinod Kumar and Sudhir Rawat from Microsoft and Amit Bansal from SQLServerGeeks delivering rock solid sessions. A welcome talk by Vinod Kumar, an Evangelist & SQL champ from Microsoft DPE, was a food for thought as he posed a question and went on to clarify one of the misconceptions that the SQL world has. So was the talk by Sudhir Rawat who spoke on Business Intelligence and its improved integration in SQL server 2008 and 2008 r2. The last session was by Amit Bansal, the driving force behind SQL Server Geeks, which became the talk of the crowd as they dispersed later.

Thanks to all the attendees. An event like this would never have been possible without our supporters. Cheers to all the participants!
