| Session | Digging data from hard-to-reach websites with Power BI Abstract: Tools such as Power Query and Power BI generally require websites to provide information in a defined Table format, which relies on website developers to a) take the time to present their data in that format, and b) be willing to provide their data in a way that is easy to scrape. As tools have become better at automatically collecting data, many websites have started restructuring in order to limit a user’s ability to download information. We will apply some of the newer tools within Power BI to analyse non-tabular datasets, showing you how easy it is to apply cutting-edge analytical tools to “difficult” websites.
